We do this at high intensity because research shows that high-intensity exercise is the best way to maximize fat loss, increase muscle mass, muscle tone and improve the positive hormone reactions in the body that keep the body young and vibrant.

At Fitness Prescription, our ability to scale the functional fitness workout to your individual needs and abilities means that anyone, at any skill level, can jump into a class and pick up the movements, the concepts, and the intensity. We also focus on form before intensity, thus decreasing injury potential and improving enjoyment of the overall programming. We also focus on handling underlying dysfunctions in the body that might hinder your ability to participate in a conditioning program. This allows us to see results with people who would otherwise not be able to participate in functional fitness.
